multiple column primary keys

hello maypole folks

i saw the thread in the archive 
(http://lists.netthink.co.uk/pipermail/maypole/2004-April/000180.html) 
about a solution for tables with multiple primary keys, but it didn't 
seem to come to a decisive conclusion.  has any progress been made on 
this topic?
