memory usage

I tried searching the archive for this but failed to find anything...

so directly to the list I go.

I'm looking at converting our code over the using cdbi.

The most important question I have is:

as this code is running under mod-perl 2, 
how much additional memory should i expect
to see if i start using cdbi instead of our
current lightweight classes?

my other option would be to preserve the 
lightweight classes but come up with
a make based system to read in conf files
and spit out all the required lightweight classes.
