Unfortunately, when Tony put 0.999 up for test about a dozen people thought
that would be a good moment to mention bugs and unmerged patches they wanted
in it as well, with the result that he decided the general opinion was that
it wasn't ready for release as 1.0 and he should go back to the drawing board.

Shortly after that he got dragged off any form of hacking by $paying_work and
has been pretty much spare-time-free since so it's anybody's guess.

Next time, could people please just say "yes that looks good, let's get it
out the door and we'll deal with the niggles later" ...

Then again, I'll probably have switched over to DBIx::Class for all my stuff
long before that happens; taking the easy way out does have its perks, after
all.
