Oh, got it.  I seem to remember having this problem before with
Time::Piece, but I don't remember how I fixed it and it isn't in the
archive.

What happens if you remove the () after "use Time::Piece" in your
script?  It also looks like your attempt to manually call
Time::Piece::import called it as a method, which is not correct.
