Well, I can't claim success yet, as we haven't gone into production but the 
project I'm working on for my employer uses LVS. So far it's working well 
though. Fallover is an issue though (LVS doesn't inherently have any ability 
to detect when a machine goes down and stop forwarding to it), but there's 
solutions to that.
