Hi Andrew,

I've had good luck tracking down these kind of bugs using the
Apache::Test[1] framework which allows me to configure a test server the
same way as my production server and run multiple tests or do
start/restart testing (with the aid of some shell scripts) or do
concurrency testing.

There is a skeleton[2] that you can use to help get started.
