Installing mod_perl for 2 servers on the same computer

Hi all,

Is it possible to install mod_perl for 2 Apache servers running on the same
computer using CPAN?
Or it is necessary to get the tar ball, and compile it manually?

If I try to do:

# cpan
# cpan> install mod_perl

It tells me that mod_perl is up to date.
