This is for apreq-dev@xxxx.xxxxxx.xxx. Also, search those archives... 
they hold more answers :)

Try the tarball at http://people.apache.org/~joes  (2.05-dev) a 
developer preview release.

Also, CVS is a thing of the past... Use SVN.
