Be aware though that the Workshop manual (part 4291) is a reprint of a
mishmash of manuals Land rover put together in the 1960's I think. It
covers ALL series ones 1948-58, which means that some of the details
are missing or wrong. This is important with an earlier model such as
a 1950, as large chunks of the manual refer to 80" 2ltr or 86" models.
As far as I know it was for this reason that the Series One Club
arrange to reprint the 1948-53 workshop manual, which covers all the
80" models and is probably a better bet.
I, like most people I suspect find the part book (1948-53 - part number
4051 as mentioned) the most useful. If you have never seen one, it
contains parts books in one, one for 1948-52 and one for 1952-53 (2 ltr
models) and is useful.
Hope this helps

We are now implementing a new ticketing system to improve response time
and
reduce the chances of a request being missed. This does mean a change of
email address, but will help us to help you more efficiently. In future
we
ask that new job requests be sent to nsmsjobs@xxxx.xx.xx.xx and general
queries/discussions to nsms@xxxx.xx.xx.xx.
Thanks for your cooperation - the NSMS Team.
