Hi Philip  and all

We have all arrived home safe and sound.  Trip went very well, a few
small problems but nothing we were not able to sort. The series ones
handled the sand dunes with ease, all down to tyre pressures and second
low box, did not need the run up the modern four wheel drives seem to
use to get over.
A couple of us carried on up north through the Kimberley and arrived
back at the end of last week  8000kms +.
We had one experience of a spinerfex fire one 86" pulled a ball of the
stuff into the exhaust pipe and up it went,
only damage was scorched paint but it was a wake up call to all as we
had to make a few deviations due to flooding on some areas of the track
.

Hi All

Just wondering how the Aussies got on traveling the Canning Stock Route
in
their SIs back in June, I think.
