SER1 107 Truck Cab vs. 107 S/W

Dear all, my mid-1958 107" S/W is very original (matching numbers, low
mileage, etc.), and stripped down to the chassis anyway. If anybody
requires photos, let me know and I can take them. It can't be
immediately, though, since it is an hour's drive away and my weekends
are rather busy at the moment, but it can be done within the next three
weeks.
Take care

Hi Martin,
It has always been a bit of a problem that there seem to be very few
details
of the 107SW chassis about and people spend many happy hours arguing
about the
correct rear crossmember. There are several versions around that people
will
swear are correct.
As far as trying to use a 107SW chasssis for a 107, forget it. They are
totally different. You would be better using one of the other chassis
or
rebuilding a genuine chassis, they do appear for sale fairly regularly,
and if
you like I can tell you when I see one next. I have assumed you are in
the
UK, actually I saw one for sale last week, as a rebuilt rolling chassis.
Regards,
Tom Christie.
