A a wonderful Labrador day to you George
You are correct, we have an excellent ( albeit gravel) highway network as
far as Cartwright. Government has started the Phase 111 from Cartwright to
Goose Bay but this will not be completed for another four years. Going by
the first two phases, I would anticipate that your old land rover could
travel that section in three years time - 2007 but not before. That would
actually be a year early so for sure there will be a few rough spots. There
will actually be about 55 kms. and a start to the bridge over the Churchill
River this fall. You are still welcome to come as far as Cartwright next
year - we have come home year from the middle of August to the end, should
be a great time.
Judy
