SER1 BROCKHOUSE ON EBAY.

Theres a Brock house on Ebay at the moment. It is in Gloucestershire,
England so for those of you overseas people it may be a bit big to post, but
I am sure it will be of interest to some UK series one fans. I went to look
at the trailer the other day and it does require a lot of work but it is an
early type, no grab rail around the front, grease nipples on the spring
shackles etc etc (see my article in the latest legend for more details). Not
very clear in the picture but there is a piece of metal on the off side
panel toward the back of the trailer at the top, this is where there is some
rot. The bottom of the tailgate is rotten as is most of the bottom of the
panels. The floor looks to have been replaced and I would say that the
trailer has had a hard life as all of the sides are bulged out, which is
what has put me off the trailer, rot can be welded but the bulged sides
would be hard to get right again. It has one of the brass plates on the daw
bar but the other is missing ( I think its the chassis plate which remains
but there is so much paint on it that its hard to be sure). The mud gaurds
are also rotted through in places and a bit bent but they are saveable just.
The description on the ad is abit vague which was why I went and looked.
