Ihave heard stories about Land Rover name plates in Farsi for the middle
eastern market. Never seen one though. Can anybody confirm this ? I think it
would make a nice colletors item.

    Sorry for not mentioning them Mark. Thought that they were not
relevant to the thread. After all, we are talking about Series Is here.
Besides I forgot all about them. Pressed Metal Corporation or BMC
Australia as they were known at different times may have been unique in
that they made their own bagdes but with Land Rover Australia on them.
The bodies were made here on imported mechanicals.
