I've ordered a repair kit from craddock, and look forward to spending 
tuesday hunting around the corners of my workshop for the spring that 
went ping.

i also discovered that some of the wheels were missing the third screw 
that holds down the drum. i assume this is Very Bad and have ordered 
some of those too.

While I'm here, let me ask: where would you put the hi-lift when 
working on a back wheel? i just tuck it under the rear crossmember, but 
that doesn't seem right, somehow.
