The carb looks brilliant I hadn't heard of the vinegar trick before, now =
I'll have to get a petrol engined truck to try it out!!

It works!=20
Cleaning the carb seems to have done the trick. After fitting the carb =
again I could not resist to give it a try, defying the cold. It coughed =
and with some patience it eventually sprang to life.
I let it run for about 20 seconds and repeated this after an hour. The =
carb is still bleeding a bit through the joints although they are new. I =
suppose that, like with many paper joints, they have to suck up the =
liquid first befor being really tight.
It is a good feeling to know that this hurdle is taken now!
But it seems to consume an awful amount of fuel. I think it swallowed =
5 or 6 times the content of a 10cc syringe which I used to fill the =
floating chamber. Could it be that there is a leak somewhere?
The picture shows the carb and the effect of boiling it in =
concentrated vinegar.
