Don't fit washer jets at all. Instead run flexible hoses from the washer
pump and secure these to the wipers with cable ties. Prick a couple of holes
in the hose and block the end and you get water exactly where you want it.
This is common practice on rally cars and has worked really well on all of
my off roaders to date.
