I doubt it can be done in a Land Rover and I also doubt if I am in any
physical condition to do the crossing on foot.
Definately sounds interesting

Without looking at the pics you sound like just the chap to join me
crossing the ice from Great Whale to the Belchers some late March/early
April. Hasn't been done recently, but the Belchers Inuit used to do it
every spring -- sometimes they made it, sometimes not so lucky ...
