I have made the grommets from hard rubber some years ago. Wasn't that
difficult and they have served me well ever since.

Hi All

I seem to remember something about wiper motors being discussed a while back
- but that's about it. Well it happened that I started overhauling the pair
of FW2 wiper motors on my 1959 SII the other day, and wanted to replace a
few couple of parts. These being the square rubber grommets where the power
lead goes into the motor, and the semi-circular bits outside that limit the
wiper arm travel, with their associated rubbers.

Holden Vintage & Classic couldn't help, and put me in touch with Cox Auto
Electrical who rebuild these units. They didn't have any of the parts
either.

So does anyone out there know where I could source these bits -preferably in
the UK? Sadly they're not listed separately in the parts book or I'd have
given Dunsfold a call.

Regards

Nick Chinery
