Welcome to the list. Are you going to put your 80" back to original livery?
I guess the question about which model your vehicle has been answered. It is a 1953
model. The practice for car manufacturers at the time was to have the "new model" in
the show room before the start of the year. Your vehicle is very low in the production
run so would have been built very early. Look on the carby and lots of the electrical
equipment for date stamps or even the wheel rims the most common date would be
just before the date of assembly.
If you want to find out exactly the date of manufacture, contact the British Motor
Industry Heritage Centre and order a "birth certificate":
