When I overhauled my brakes a few years back I replaced all of the posts as
the old ones had rusted away at the slotted end and were unadjustable. As I
couldn't source any at the time I purchased bolts of the correct thread and
lengthe filed the ends to make the pattern the same. The only difference is you
have to adjust them using a spanner instead of a screwdriver but given that
this is on the reverse of the backplate it is easier than the original set up
anyway.
Makes me wonder why Landrover used slotted heads in the first place.
