Hi Mark,

I have had lots of similar problems on my recently acquired 2A. The
lights were doing all sorts of funny things depending on what was
switched on and whether or not I was indicating. I am no expert at all
on electrics, but got a mate around with an avo, and he traced several
earth faults, as well as a couple of loose connections. I would think it
is definately an earthing problem somewhere - its just a matter of
finding it! I hope this does not sound too glib' an answer, but I am
sure that is what the problem is.
