Tom, thanks for posting the British Pacific Great Race info, you beat me to it . Pat Young, the guy imentioned n tha article, who did alot of the resto on that 1959 S1 is doing my S1 80 also. It would take me at least 2 years to do a frame off resto as I do not have the garage space and time due to family/work commitments. Best I can do now is to maintain my 3 Series trucks. Pat has about 40 years experience with all things automotive and is a super guy.  He is thinking of starting a vintage Land Rover/British (& other( vehicle restoration business and I would recommend him without reservation.  He also is the engine rebuilder for British Pacific.
