Hi there,

finally the real welding can start!

The weekend wheather has been so fabulous that I rolled the chassis onto the
drive way to clean it from the inside and get all the mud out. After
cleaning all the mess up in the evening I had emptied about two buckets full
of mud, mice shit, rests of the operation manual, pebbles, hazel nuts, bolts
etc. out of the chassis.

I have to admit that my neighbour's steam cleaner came in really handy.

The enlarged hole in the flywheel cross member will stay to allow for easier
drainage of this part. Looking into the chassis I would say that it should
still have quite some years of life in it.

Cheers, Ulrico
