I am currently fitting a new one and can am finding that the chassis is getting about two millimeters narrower at the front holes if I weld it as it is now. To compensate will mean more filing and fettling to be done. I achieved the correct distance and feel quite positive about the height off the main vertical datum line. Only the taper is out by these two millimeters. Please answer as soon as possible. I want to do the welding tomorrow night.
