Dear Coen,
Especially if you are driving a Minerva (ex Belgium Army) the place to go
is: van der Put, Steenweg op Leopoldsbrug 99, in B-2940 Balen Belgium, +32
347 020. Driving distance from Zoetermeer is app. 180 km.
He has virtually everything you need, at reasonable prices.
Do you know the Dutch Land Rover Register (DLRR)? Visit their website to get
an idea what they offer: www.dlrr.nl
Visit the "Opperduit Landrover" pictures on the Series One Garage to see the
current state of my Series One.
Succes!

Subject: SER1 Hello, i m new on the list
Hello, just to be polite, I want to introduce myself:
My name is Coen Caminada, from Zoetermeer, the neterlands, Europe.
My father and I have bought a 1952 Minerva oldtimer; a series one 80
inch land Rover, made under licence in Belgium.
It will be used as a rolling restoration and a fun to drive vehicle in
the summers.
regrettably it doesn't brake at the moment, due to a leaking master
cylinder.... witch I will be changing to a series 2 cast iron version,
with the holes enlarged to S1 standards and rethreaded.
I also drive a 90 200Tdi Land Rover "new-timer".
witch will need a new clutch..
I am planning to go to Great Britain for the holidays, and to get some
S1 spare parts.
I hope to visit craddocks and Dunsfold. (Any suggestions for a good
holiday place / spare parts suppliers will be appreciated)
I hope to find a S1 door top, since the Minerva items are not galvanised
and heavily rusted
Greetings,
Coen
