We used an expanding reamer to open out the apertures in the chassis to = fit the new slit bushes. We renewed all of the bushes back and front, all had to be reamed, this = took a bit of time. Many tons will be needed to get these bushes in. = Normal bushes, like used in later series are the same dimensions, so = obviously the bores are a bit narrow. I wonder what spec the ones I = removed were, but this is another question. I think of using one piece bushes and turn them to a 0 to +0.02 = interference.=20 Has anybody else experienced similar issues?
