Hi Patrick,
The Minerva is LHD so the righthand seat is the passenger's. Driving not
necessary but, that said, I'd prefer a second driver to spread the load
and increase the daily rate, not so much to shorten the number of days but
to make more time for sightseeing available. Accomodations a mix of
camping and B&B's. Any Number Two would be responsible for personal
expenses; I pay for fuel and ferry charges for the vehicle.
I can make more info available on the route, but it starts at the Series
One meet at Petersham in central Massachusetts and winds through New
Hampshire, Maine, New Brunswick, Quebec, Labrador and Newfoundland before
returning through Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Maine. For someone
coming from England it would probably be best to fly into Boston -- we'd
have to rig transport connections in and out but that shouldn't be too
difficult.
Highlights of the trip, if nothing breaks, include two UNESCO World
Heritage Sites (L'Anse aux Meadows -- the Norse site -- and Gros Morne),
at least four substantial ferry rides, and some of North America's largest
hydro projects.
