Diana - thanks for your concern and wishes.  Tom - thinking of your
parents.

I was working in the house, listening to old vinyl discs (a sudden
nostalgia kick), and wasn't aware of the news.  How odd (and how 21st
Century) that I should first learn of something in my capital city
(where I grew up) from someone the other side of the world!
