You may find this hard to believe, however Four Wheel Drive's in Melbourne
Australia (www.landrovers.com.au) can often supply parts cheaper than some
of the European dealers. It all has to do with the strength of the Euro and
the GBPound at the moment. They are worth getting quotes from and their
catalogue is worth getting.

Hi to all,

I have just joined this forum and I am already suprised by so much
enthusiasm!

Our family owns a Land Rover Series One (1952, LHD, basic export,
extras: tilt, hand throttle, rear seats, extra windscreen wiper, spare
wheel on bonnet, rear tow plate), which we are trying to restore to its
original condition (currently, the cooling system is finished and we are
starting with the mixing one).

For our purposes, we are importing all parts from UK suppliers
(Dunsfold, Craddock, Blanchard, Mostly Series One, The Land Rover
Orphanage, ebay.co.uk ...). However, we would be interested in obtaining
those items from a closer supplier in order to lower p&p costs. Does
anybody know of any Land Rover spares supplier in Europe similar to the
referred ones?

Thanks in advance for your answers,

Paco
