I believe you are correct.  The information came out of my 1954 - 57 Parts
Catalogue.  So if I were mistaken about the 1954 bit my apologies.

But I did say they were for the spread bore 1997cc.  Which doesn't include
the 1997cc engines in the '52/'53 80" models or the engine in the '54.

What concerned me was that the ebay ad specifies early Land Rover - when I
think of "early Land Rovers" I think of 1948 to 1951 and possibly up to
1953.  The other ones are the Series 1's.

has not the "late" 1955 spread bore (17xxxxxxx) until 1958 (include the
first serie two export)  bigger gudgeon pins?
