SER1 drag link length

hello there,

quick question: can someone with an 88 please tell me how long the  
drag link rod should be? The second-hand one I've just received is  
27.25" long but the one it's replacing is 28.5".

I suspect that the shorter rod is from an 80", from the markings, but  
the parts book doesn't say anything to suggest that there were  
changes between models: could it be that PO has fitted the wrong part?
