If you're a purist, look away now ;-)

We have a 'jobbing' 1958 Series 1, pretty enough but way way from concours.

The petrol 2.25 in it is fairly tired, and we fancy putting a n/a diesel in its 
place.

There were no bell-housing mismatch issues, nothing that prevents us doing 
this conversion, were there?

Maybe someone on the List (in the southern UK) has an old but serviceable 
complete n/a diesel they'd like to unload?
