They have different part numbers S1 =3D oil filler cap = 235406 + top rocker cover breather 230996; S2 =3D 2.28 litre oil filler = cap 546440 (although the oil recommendation decal on the S2 cap has its = own part number 272476). On this engine the breather on the rocker cover has a set screw that = locates it into the cover (You know the one everyone tries to take off = to put the oil in) and it was this breather that had the remnants of the = decal. The other one for the oil filler was also silver but didn't have = any decal left (or never had one) and is a push on fit over the pipe = coming off the side plate. Will have to try and see if this one is the = same as those my friend has. =20 Would still like the top decal or complete breather. (Even though its = only going to be temporary, that is dependant on how difficult it is to = pull the finger out.) I have seen them in catalogues like Holdens Vintage = and classic spares, but I have just checked theirs online. I only = paid 1 pound each but they don't fit. I think they are ex army spares = for Series two. Where? I could barely read the original it = but it had the "AC" symbol at the top and instructions which included = the word engine all in a circle. Was there a decal on the oil filler/breather cap? If so, is that also = available anywhere?
