[Templates] Generating the menu map

I'm working on a small framework that implements web sites as
described in the Badger book (with some twists, of course).
One of the things the framework does, is buiding the site map
(site.map) out of some small control files spread over the actual
directories. Moving a directory to some other point in the hierarchy
will automatically be reflected in the new site map.

Before turning this code into a Template plugin a quick question: did
someone already create a plugin for this purpose?

I hope to release the first beta of the framework this weekend. Stay tuned.
