threaded apache2

Has anyone used Class::DBI with a threaded apache2? I see that Ima::DBI (wh=

C::DBI uses) declares, "I seriously doubt that it's thread safe. You can be=

cupcackes to sno-cones that much havoc will be wrought if Ima::DBI is used =

a threaded Perl."

So is a threaded MPM not safe with Class::DBI?
