a whitelisting-scheme to avoid wiki-spam:

Looks like these are whitelists of links to external hostnames.
not sure how that works exactly, but that *might* also be a solution
for the CDBI-wiki. On the other hand it might be too much overhead to
keep the whitelist current.
I wouldn't mind helping out in looking further into that and/or implementin=
g it.
