Arg -- I'm not being specific enough again. Sorry. This is all in 
FreeBSD, which I know handles memory much differently than Linux. 
Here's a sample line from top:

The hash is called in a startup.pl like this:
My::HashLoader ();

And HashLoader basically does the code I listed before. So I would 
assume that it would be shared.
