Hi Jeremy,

I have had this problem on a couple of old motors over the years.

What I did to solve the problem was to fit a Filter King, it regulates the
pressure from the pump.
It also maintains that the fuel is always at the carb, so if you do not
start the motor for any length of time, it always starts first .
