Glad to say my 80" is all repaired and running fine.  I'm still gasping
at the shipping costs for the parts from Dunsfold (added 50% to the cost
of the parts!!), but am very happy that my truck is purring like a
kitten (with the occasional hiccup, furballs you know).  

Guess I'm going to have to wait quite a while and save up those pennies
to get a new weber carb to replace my poor old solex....

Thanks Tom - I am lugging a S1 107 chassis  which likely weighs in 
similarly.

Have you repaired your cyl head?  What about Martin's exhaust valves?
