Hey Tom,
I'm in Chicago this week, but will be home on Thursday nite.
Yup, the siamese bore and spread bore use slightly different pump internals,
although the same casting is used. The shaft is larger dia and the impeller
is thicker (so it doesn't snap when you try to press it off). The pumps are
interchangable.
The pump I bought is the newer spread bore type. I also have the bits to
rebuild my old pump. So, if you need to, you can have that and replace it when
you rebuild yours.
