I'm finally into installing the Roverdrive on my TT and I'm hoping someone
with an LHD Series I 80 can tell me what they see for vertical clearance
between the top of the transfer case (exclusive of the access plate) and
the hand brake cross shaft a few inches farther back. By my measure on
the TT it's approximately -0.50" and the Roverdrive won't clear. Since
the Minerva parts book shows 'M' numbers for the entire hand brake lever
assy (meaning it was locally manufactured, i.e not Rover) I'm wondering if
my cross shaft is set lower than Solihull's. The design looks similar,
but the brackets might be shorter.

Next up is the question of whether the shift linkage fits in the tunnel,
and whether the installation of the Roverdrive without pulling the entire
t'case can be done without taking advantage of the pto hole in the cross
member (another feature missing on TT's and the reason why the hand
brake brackets might be shorter -- never a pto to clear).

Thanks.
