SER1 RHD export ?

Hi all,

I've just posted some pictures in the garage (mission impossible  
R06167494) of my latest heap!

I bought (for a few beer tokens) it for the engine which is a late 2ltr  
(1957) which after a small amount of tinkering runs like a dream.

The interesting thing is that the chassis number is R06167494, which  
according to the S1 club serial number guide makes it a RHD export  
model. (4th digit 6 = RHD export - normal home model = 0 )  however  
I've been through the register and I can't find a single one with 6 as  
the 4th digit, yet that is definitely  what it says on the engine  
mount, and it's a narrow spring model

Sadly I think the chassis/ bulkhead etc are just scrap as the main  
chassis rails are rotted through and  it's been modified at the back,  
but watch this space :-)

Anyone near swindon uk got an early rear tub with the wide bulkhead  
rail , wings,  rad panel ? ..... :-)
