I also have a '56 86" with 2.25l petrol, S1 box and transfer case.
I've fitted R6 rims with 750x16 SAGs. Also have S1 LWB brakes fitted.
Cruise at 105-110km/h @ 3800rpm. Top +/- 119km/h (I'm told) @ 4100rpm.
Fit an overdrive and things will be a lot more comfortable as the noise =
gets too much (as well as the feeling of guilt).
