Yes, the steel frame and hinge are galvanized, the Birmabright panel below
the perspex window is limestone.
I seem to remember tthat the "large stash" of series 1 parts now in
Dunsfolds hands originated from one of the large military surplus dealers
(Tony Budge? ) clearing out one of their warehouses. This would suggest the
tops are ex mil of sorts.
