I forgot to mention on my last post that the Aussie Dollar (otherwise known as the
South West Pacific Peso) is only worth about 41 UK Pence so the Maxidrive
replacement axles would only cost about 170 UK pounds. You should be able to get
the 24 spline drive flanges from Craddocks or Dunsfolds or any Land Rover breaker
who recycles the later Series III etc Land Rovers.
I am 99.9999% sure that the narrow Maxidrive axles have the 10 splines on the diff end.
