Hmmmm.... Interesting. Now that you people have mentioned this I have =
done a couple of quick searches for photos showing this crossmember in =
the chassis. It sure is a meaty one by the looks of it and as such not =
having it there would weaken the chassis considerable as well as not =
providing protection to the gearbox during some more adventurous or =
comical off-road maneuvers. I guess I'll need to make one of those now =
too. Can anyone provide me with some clear pics showing the 2nd =
