You could try here http://www.series2club.co.uk/frame.htm and then if you go to the Technical Link, there are some early wiring diagrams - which I expect will be similar to the later Series One wiring diagrams. Hope you get this email, I am having problems posting to the major......

Hi Folks
ready with restauration, every liquid is filled up, and the first problems are present. Try to start, engine, has not run for exactly one year, fresh oil in the engine during this year and turn the engine by hand once a month. Now,after finished restauration I want to change the oil when engine has run warm once or twice, but first to get the motor running again....
Harness fault:
when switchknob turned  in pos. 1:  front corner lights and rear lights on
pos. 2: rearlights on, main beam red control light in instrument on and with turníng dipswitch down, high beam head lights on
dipswitch back upwards, no main headlights,
horn is okay
I guess, wrong connection in steeringwheel plate ?!
 
when switchknob is turned off and key turned on, then the right rear light is on, fuelpump works with horrible noise in low frequency ( no fuel in bowl and fuel pipes, but 10 Liters in tank) Must I fill up the glas bowl to reduce the vacuum and make the fuelpump work correct ? Or is fuel pump damaged? Opened it, cleaned it, it has had a new membrane, contacts clean ....
BTW: Battery is in bad condition, I charged up to 13,75Volts, but when I press the starterbutton it breaks down to 4,6Volts - so I will buy a new battery tomorrow and hope, that the starter will start the engine, maybe this is also the problem for the low fuel pump frequency?!
