SER1 Front Spring Shackles

Hello All

 I may have to replace some or all of the suspension bushes on my 86" soon.

 As every other part of my landrover has incorrect/incompatible/upsidedown
parts fitted by previous owners. I thought it would be a good idea if I
studied the parts book diagrams to familiarize myself with how it "Should"
be put together.

 I noticed there is a difference between 86" and 88" Shackles?

86" Part No.  plain= 233629,  threaded= 233630

88" Part No.  plain= 270520,  threaded= 270521

Can anyone tell me what the difference is?
And how I might tell which I've got?
