Hi Guys,
I've just done the transistorised conversion on the SU pump, which purrs away
very sweetly and is hopefully now taking around 400mA instead of 3A across
the points.
The question is, though, what should I do about the capacitor under the pump
cap ? Its purpose is to reduce the points current, but has the transistor
obviated the need for it ?
Regards to all,
Anthony
